1911 Ford Model T



This Yesteryear version of the Ford Model T is a 4 seat version. This is really an old matchbox car. Released in 1964 this version of the diecast only comes in the red and black colors.

Some of the variations for this model are the steering wheel, which can be plastic or metal. A black textured roof compared with the more common smooth roof. Also a twin handbrake level.

Mark Robbins has a nice site of Yesteryear matchbox models. He provides a brief history of the Lesney Products company. You can find lists of all the different models. He has them grouped by category, number, year of introduction, and scale. He includes detailed photos and points out many different details.

Also included on his site is information about the boxes these models of Yesteryear came in. There is detailed information on the different components of the Yesteryear models including: axles, baseplate, body, plastic components, plated components, steering wheels, spare wheels, tyres, and wheels.
